Nestled in the heart of the Sunday River ski resort, Cascades Condominiums offer the perfect combination of slopeside convenience and amenities. This 72-unit ski-in/ski-out condo complex features studio and one-bedroom units, each privately owned. Guests enjoy direct access to the South Ridge base area via the beginner-friendly Broadway trail. The complex provides family-friendly activities including an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and a spacious indoor common area with a fireplace. Nearby at the South Ridge base area, guests can explore various dining options, a food court, equipment rentals, retail shops, and ski lessons. Access to the Chondola and Sunday River Express lifts is effortless from the base area, and night skiing is available in the South Ridge area.

The Cascades A-15 condo unit was great. It was one of the few units we could find with four real beds (in addition to the futon). The living room furniture looks a little underwhelming in the photos, but is actually very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped (no oven). The 2nd floor porch was nice, and there is direct access to the parking lot from the ground level "patio". All the windows had bug screens and the provided fans meant that we could keep it cool during the warm Maine summer.

The team members were very responsive by email/text. They notified us once the unit was available for check-in earlier than 4:00. This was great as we ended up arriving early and were able to get an extra half day on the mountain.

Always easy booking and plenty of selection for accommodations. Can't beat staying slope side. Maine Ski Lodging Co is my go to for staying at Sunday River. It is a good unit, reasonably updated, ground floor access is convenient. But the unit does not have a conventional oven.

We loved the location, and the condo and building were very clean, comfortable and well set up. The apartment itself has a decent amount of space to spread out in and relax, which was important because the public spaces are closed due to COVID. The walls were a little thin, but not so bad that we couldn't eventually fall asleep after a hard day of skiing. It's important to know that there is no oven in this unit (we brought food we couldn't quite cook), although there is a crock pot which we made great use of.
