Description
This charming loft is the perfect place get away to the mountains of Maine. Located next to the Bethel Inn and across from the Bethel Common, the loft is walking distance to all shops, cross country skiing, restaurants, Gould Academy, and the grocery store. The property is just 5 miles to Sunday River. Relax after a day on the slopes or on the golf course in the open kitchen, living and dining area equipped with everything you need for a weekend getaway. The loft space is not full standing height and features two twin beds. The private bedroom is located next to the upgraded bathroom with tile shower.
Condo building has thin walls where noise travels easily to other units, some that are occupied by full-time residents. Please consider this when booking and be aware of this while occupying the unit.
Linens / ToiletriesLinens, towels, pillows and bedding are provided. Personal toiletries such as bath soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste etc are not provided.

Traditional drip coffee maker is provided. Bringing filters and coffee is recommended.

We had a great time at the Opera House. Its a cute space for family of 4, with separate bedroom and two beds in the loft. (Loft ceiling is low but kids loved it- like a nest but plenty of space). Walkable to awesome Maine Mineral and Gem Museum, Gemini Bakery and restaurants and only 10 mins from Sunday River. Kitchen is well equipped. The property management is great super responsive and communicative, easy check-in and check-out and local tips.

Wonderful place and very clean. It was very easy to find and access. The town is very cute and it was super easy to walk to everything. We enjoyed sitting out in the front porch in the evenings. The host was extremely responsive! The only thing was that the ceiling was extremely low in the loft. This would have been good information to know before.

My mom, sister and I stayed here for a weekend in Bethel. The location is perfect! Pretty and peaceful by the commons. Walkable distance to the restaurants and shops in town. The loft in the old opera house was such a cool and unique stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. Absolutely worth booking!

The unit was cute and clean which is appreciated. However, a heads up about the 4' ceiling height in the loft would have been appreciated. Luckily it was our 13 year old daughter and not adults sleeping upstairs, although with her being just over 5' tall as well it was rather uncomfortable to move around. Maybe adding a note in the description of the unit would be helpful as pictures can be deceiving.

This was my first air bnb experience and based on my experience w/Maine Ski Lodging, I can say without a doubt it will not be my last. The check in and check out could not have been easier, the loft was exactly as described and it was impeccably clean. We had everything we needed and so much more. All we had to do was bring our suitcases and relax. The accommodations were perfect for us. So comfortable and cozy. Definitely recommend staying with Maine Ski Lodging!!!

Very easy to book, check in, and enjoy. You get everything you need in a reasonable package. The location is very easy to get in and out of and very close to restaurants. Know that the ceiling in the loft is only ~5ft so adults will have to duck around.

My friends and I stayed here and we were super comfortable. Everything worked out perfectly. Kitchen was clean, living room and couches allowed us to relax and stay comfortable, bathroom and bedroom are accurate to pictures. We were concerned that the listing said no AC but turns out there is one and they even turned it on for us to cool the room before we arrived! Amazing response time and we would love to stay again.

Ive always thought this is a charming building in Bethel, and it did not disappoint. This unit is well appointed and recently updated with nice appliances, furniture, and stylish bathroom. All amenities were true the advertisement. We had a nice stay.
