Description
Nestled in the heart of the Sunday River ski resort, Cascades Condominiums offer the perfect combination of slopeside convenience and amenities. This 72-unit ski-in/ski-out condo complex features studio and one-bedroom units, each privately owned. Guests enjoy direct access to the South Ridge base area via the beginner-friendly Broadway trail. The complex provides family-friendly activities including an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and a spacious indoor common area with a fireplace. Nearby at the South Ridge base area, guests can explore various dining options, a food court, equipment rentals, retail shops, and ski lessons. Access to the Chondola and Sunday River Express lifts is effortless from the base area, and night skiing is available in the South Ridge area.

Traditional drip coffee maker and startup supply of coffee is provided. Bringing additional filters and coffee is recommended.

The property was exactly as listed. When we arrived entry was simple. We found that we had everything we needed. There were extra keys to the guest ski locker which was helpful. Getting to the lifts was easy with ski in/ out access. You can even get to the Foggy Goggle by walking a short distance down the slope. I will definitely book again.

A great location slopeside with a ski locker included. The space is small with a good amount of hallway noise and it doesnt have a dishwasher, but overall a good experience with easy entry and good responsiveness.

This condo is perfect for 1-2 people looking to ski Sunday River (it would get crowded with 3+). The ski in/ski out location is hard to beat! There is an indoor pool and hot tub in the building, ski lockers downstairs, and the unit has a balcony. The space was just what I needed for a quick trip to the mountains. Coffee was available, and there were plenty of utensils, plates, cups, etc for cooking. Basic toiletries, hair dryer, and plenty of towels were provided, as well. TV had cable and streaming options. It is self check in with keyless entry, which I found convenient.

I appreciate how the host anticipated guest needs; everything we needed was there, without being too cluttered. I particularly liked the nice collection of games, and variety of kitchen utensils. The host also communicated to let us know we could check in early. Location is great right next to South Ridge and the building was quiet when we were there. Note you cannot go back to your room without removing your boots which wasn't as convenient for lunch. Does offer storage lockers for your equipment so you can gear up/down on that lower level (no bathroom there we could find though). Ample kitchen and bathroom supplies were available and appliances all worked well. Good to know the condo has an individual water heater so keep showers to a minimum to not run out.
